All protective masks of medical standards have expiry dates, and the masks are specially designed for special use.
The mask should be replaced immediately if it is contaminated by the patient's blood, respiratory/nasal secretions, and other body fluids.
Personnel at high risk should replace their masks after receiving highly suspected patients.
Masks worn by persons exposed to other risk categories may be used repeatedly. Wash hands before wearing the mask. Avoid touching the inside of the mask. The mask should be replaced in time when it is dirty, deformed, damaged or has peculiar smell.

As for reusable masks, hang them in a clean, dry and ventilated place, or place them in a clean, breathable paper bag. Keep masks separately, avoid contact them with each other, and identify their users.
Medical-standard respirators should not be cleaned or sterilized with disinfectants, heat, etc.
The cleaning of the self-suction filter respirator (full or half-sided) and the power supply filter respirator shall be carried out according to the instructions.
Cotton gauze masks can be cleaned and disinfected. Other non-surgical masks should be handled according to the instructions.
